Gemütlich eingerichtetes Wirtshaus in Nürnberg mit Deckenleuchten und gedeckten Tischen

Long-standing Franconian recipes, modern interpretation

In our kitchen, the chefs reflect on the Franconian roots of the house. So guests can order Schäufele, Zwiebelrostbraten and other typical Franconian classics in our inn. However, it is also important to us that these are no longer served as they were 50 years ago. After all, we want to move with the times. That’s why, in addition to modern interpretations of the old recipes, we also offer new creations – such as the Nürn-Burger – as well as vegetarian specialties. We hope you enjoy your evening with us!

Sourced locally for sustainability and authentic taste

Why fetch from far away? Also in the procurement of our products we reflect on the traditional! As in the past, we work closely with long-standing suppliers from the region. This is more sustainable and the classic recipes taste just that little bit better. The vegetables, for example, come from Knoblauchsland, the pork from the Steigerwald, the beers from here.

Authentic pub with Franconian beers

Franconia is world famous for its variety of beers. Therefore, it is not necessary to search too long for the right beers for our restaurant. Look forward to the following Franconian beers:

  • Tucher Rotbier (Nuremberg)
  • Zirndorfer Landbier (Zirndorf b. Nuremberg)
  • Aktien Zwickl (Bamberg)
  • Lederer Pils (Nuremberg)
  • Grüner (Fürth)
  • Krug Bräu (Breitenlesau)
